When to use this story

Read it in the days before your child starts riding the bus, and again after a change like a new driver or route. Visiting the stop and watching the bus go by can help too.

Tips

  1. 1Add a photo of your child's real bus stop and, if you can, the bus or the driver.
  2. 2Ask whether your child can sit in the same seat each day.
  3. 3Pack headphones or a small comfort object for the ride.
